Hail,

Well, it's been years since I've done one of these, hasn't it?  Anyway, if you're even reading this you certainly know by know, but the series is finally available on DVD.  I'll have a review up, probably in June, but I haven't received the set yet to get started.  Some initial notes from people who have it:

The music, as expected, is almost completely replaced.  I'll definitely post my impressions of the stuff, since what they used on the VHS release was really bad.  Hopefully this is better.
Although the episodes are almost completely uncut, the Daria! opening was not included.
More importantly, the version of IICY? included was the cut version, not the first broadcast version.  Apparently MTV does not have access to all the material they need to do it.
There also doesn't seem to be much in the way of extras.

Of course, all of this is still better than having a handfull of episodes on VHS.

Anyway, aside from the DVD news, there obviously isn't going to be a lot going on.  I know the site could use a serious make-over; the current tables format is way out of date, especially for modern screen resolutions.  I don't plan to fix it, though.  There's just too much work involved.  Once I get the DVD review done, there probably won't be any changes to the site outside of fanfic, fanart and links updates (the latter of which I really need to get around to doing soon).
