Hail,

Just a quick update today. More information about "Is It College Yet?" has come out finally. Just like IIFY, IICY will only be shown uncut once. Fire up the VCRs, it's scheduled to air January 21 at 8:00 P.M. EST. The movie will be preceded by a clip-show titled "A Look Back in Annoyance" hosted by Daria.

For those who are still missing episodes, the weeks before the movie are supposed to hold some Daria marathons. No real word on which episodes, or how many will be shown, but keep your eyes open.

Hail,

Some news about MTV that had people worried has been confirmed. MTV is laying off a number of people, and closing its animation division. However, we have been told that this will not effect the release of "Is It College Yet?".

In other, related news, Barnes and Noble has "Is It Fall Yet?" up for pre-order. Haven't seen it anywhere else, but they've got it listed as a January 2002 release, on VHS and DVD.

Hail,

I've been going through and adding the alter-egos from MTV's site. I'm almost done with them, but I'm sure I'm mis-filing some of these (especially Jesse's). I unfortunately don't have the complete fourth season on tape, so I can't go back and check all of them, although I have checked as far along as I do have. If anyone does see one out of place, let me know.

Hail,

There's finally some unconfirmed rumors about "Is It College Yet?" floating around. This has not been posted on the MTV Daria page yet, so take it with a grain of salt, but the movie is supposedly scheduled to air on January 21st, 2002. It's around the expected time frame, so this may even be correct.

The movie description leaves more to be desired, however.

The film will feature Daria and her friends planning for college. Daria find herself contemplating which college to attend as well as her relationship with her boyfriend, Tom. Jane deals with rejection from schools; Mack and Jodie deal with their parents' expectations; Quinn deals with the issue of her own alcohol abuse; and Brittany and Kevin come to their own realizations about college and their relationship.

As Jet Black says, "You really can't trust the previews on this show."
