October 12, 2001 Hail, If you're reading this, you've found the new server. I've been having (not unexpectedly) some e-mail problems, but they should be taken care of now. Wraith October 9, 2001 Hail, Okay, I'm finally ready to try moving servers again. The extra delay was, in part, because of the addition of a nice firewall. The change-over should be happening starting tomorrow. There should be no problem accessing the web site, but e-mail has not yet been tested, so there may be problems there. Anyone desperate to contact me over the next few days, but getting e-mail error messages, can get in touch on the Paperpusher's Message Board (general forum for preference). Hopefully this won't be required. I've done some basic updates to the Merchandise section. A more comprehensive update should be coming soon, with images and info that I've been able to get a hold of regarding out of production items. Also, once the change over is complete, I'll have plenty of server space. Anyone with Daria sounds, images, fan art, or fanfic, please feel free to send it my way. Wraith August 30, 2001 Hail, The changeover did not happen. Network Solutions was even slower than expected, and I'm going to be at AnimeFEST 2001 this weekend. I could probably get the changeover taken care of before I left, but I wouldn't have time to test everything, so it'll just wait until I get back. And don't forget, Cowboy Bebop starts this weekend. I really do encourage everyone to check this out. Wraith August 24, 2001 Hail, Okay, nothing new yet. Still haven't heard anything about when "Is
it College Yet?" will show. I just wanted to post a quick update.
I'm going to be attempting to move the site to a new server this weekend.
I'm running the server myself, so it should drastically reduce the
amount of problems I have with load times and e-mail. It also greatly
increases the amount of space I have available, so once I get the
move done I'll be putting out some calls for fanfic just to fill things
up. One more thing, for those interested. Cartoon Network is going to start showing Cowboy Bebop on Sunday, September 2nd. I don't have an exact time for it yet, but it will during their new Adult Swim segment. They have promised to show it uncut. I have it on DVD, and I highly encourage anyone who is at all interested in anime to watch it. Heck, even if you aren't... if you like science-fiction, noir, or action-adventure, you'll probably like something about this show. It's definitely one of the best anime around, and as an added bonus it's actually got a good dub (which is extremely rare). Wraith August 2, 2001 Hail, It's been a while since my last update. Not much has been going on
in Daria, of course. Still, I've got a few Sick, Sad World projects
I'd like to take care of, largely getting alter-egos caught up and
getting the merchandise section updated. No word on exactly when the movie is showing yet. I'll post as soon as I find out, of course. Until then, you may want to check out a show on Nickelodeon, called "Invader Zim." Delightfully twisted show about an alien who's here trying to take over the Earth. He thinks he's the advance scout, but the other aliens really only sent him to get rid of him... It's made by the same guy who did "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac", by-the-by, not exactly something you'd think would look good on a resume for Nick. The show is definitely worth checking out, however.
